Since Charlotte NC has made so many 'top ten lists' of place to relocate to, it is helpful to know a little more about the area. We have comprised the top 5 Charlotte communities for relocation based on location, taxes, schools and proximity to Charlotte's inner workings.

Belmont/ Mount Holly: Water's Edge

Water's Edge is a beautiful community featuring a full swim club. Water view homesites on the Catawba River are available and numerous recreational opportunities are nearby. The Stowe YMCA and the U.S. National Whitewater Center are both just minutes away. This superb community provides a relaxed lifestyle just a short distance from uptown Charlotte. SC taxes are much lower than NC's and the school system is one of the best in country. There are several new home communities that will suit any budget or taste.

Rock Hill: The Woodlands

The new home community of The Woodlands also boasts the convenience of living minutes from Charlotte with low South Carolina taxes and excellent schools. The Woodlands community is well-situated near I-77 providing easy access to an abundance of shopping, restaurants, and retail choices. This master-planned community will feature numerous amenities including a swimming pool and clubhouse as well as an elementary school on site.

Indian Land, SC

Aren't low taxes great? That's why so many people who work in Charlotte live in South Carolina. Indian Land, SC is no different. While only being minutes from Charlotte NC and all of it's attractions and amene ties, this community has more of a small town feel with a population of only 25,000. Don't let the small town feel fool you, everything from shopping, restaurants and entertainment is only minutes away.

Mooresville: Waterlynn

The Waterlynn community features townhomes with 2-3 bedroom plans ranging from 1,293 - 1,460 square feet with a limited number of First Floor Master Bedroom end units and detached garage units available. The townhome buildings encircle a landscaped open space bordered with sidewalks and homeowner's in Waterlynn will be able to enjoy the community pool with water park!

Waterlynn is conveniently located off Interstate 77 and 21 minutes from Lake Norman & recreational areas and parks!
